Summer sure flew by!
But here, at United Media Now, we have been very busy planning for the next phase of Sarah’s cooking show. Over the next few months, you can expect to see quite a few changes, from a new name and feel for the show, to a new and improved website where it can be accessed. We have also taken into account your comments on what you would like to see and look forward to taking on a more healthy focus for the show…. not crazy focus… but just some good common sense focus.
For all of Sarah’s fans, I am sad to tell you that Sarah’s Kitchen Creations will be going into the vault of famous past cooking shows. This means that unfortunately, the show will no longer be available for viewing. This is a slight bummer, but also a reality of the media business that I have had to learn. Fortunately, it doesn’t mean the end of hanging with Sarah in the kitchen. Just a new beginning!
In fact, I think the new program is even better!
For starters, I think you will really enjoy the new approach we will take with the show. We will go outside the kitchen and into the community and truly display the beauty of Sarah and her life.
As I stated earlier, we will take a more healthy approach to the show, but make sure to keep it upbeat and fun. Kale chips, almond milk, yummy green smoothies and lots of fruits and veggies will brighten up our cooking repertoire. We will also tackle some kid food favorites by bringing in almond flour and making them gluten free for all our viewers with wheat allergies.
And in an effort to nudge our business community just a little bit harder to provide more goods and services to the disability community, Sarah’s cooking show will continue to highlight kitchen gadgets and other items which utilize universal design and give our loved ones a greater opportunity for independence in the kitchen and in life. We would ask that you patronize these companies so their efforts are rewarded…. and just maybe…. they will do even more.
In the meantime, keep your eyes open as a great group of people try their best to make this upcoming move as transparent as possible.
I have to thank all my sponsors for their support for Sarah’s Kitchen Creations. First, I want to thank Tangram – a great group here in Indianapolis who is changing the way we support people with disabilities by educating businesses and opening up job opportunities to the disabled. Please click on their link and find out more about them. You will be amazed. Let them help your loved one get connected to the job market!
To DK New Media. Doug and Jenn, I don’t know what I would do without your strength of knowledge of the social media market. You have bailed me out so many times! I look forward to the next leg of this adventure and can’t think of going through it with anyone but you. Friends, if you are looking for a great social media partner, please call Doug or Jenn – they are incredible!

Oh – and by the way, Sarah’s kitchen is almost done!
